Students are encouraged to start assessments at these early levels to prepare for the assessment environment. Designed to prepare the students physically and psychologically using teaching methods that enhance their gross motor skills and to nurture the creative intuition that students of this age naturally have. Eurhythmics Eurhythmics is an approach to the education of Music that was devised by Emile Jaques-Dalcroze. It is based on the premise that the human body is the source of all musical ideas. Physical awareness or kinesthetic intelligence is one of our most powerful senses, yet it is often taken for granted. We use it in everyday situations to keep our balance, judge distances, and manipulate the objects around us. Through participation in simple games, exercises and improvisations the students learn to combine music and movement in order to develop rhythmic unity between the eye, ear, mind and body.
