Students study at ADM the core education programme in their choice of Classical Ballet, Jazz &/or Tap. Students not only learn the physical expertise & technique of these dance styles but are also exposed to other components of the art including:

• History of the style
• Body Science (incorporating Anatomy, Physiology, Kinesiology and Nutrition)
• Musicality
• Stagecraft
• Choreography
• Dance Vocabulary

This well-rounded education stands the students in good stead for the future no matter what occupation they decide to undertake:

• Be it in medicine as a dance physiotherapist or dance psychologist
• in Journalism as a dance or theatre critic
• in Education as a dance or physical education teacher
• in Administration for the arts to name just a few
• or of course in the field of professional performance and choreography.
